About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-market Account Executive to join our team at GitLab. This role involves serving as the primary connection between GitLab and mid-market customers, helping organizations adopt and expand our AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own a broad book of mid-market business, from new prospects to growing existing accounts
- →Manage the full sales cycle for Mid-market prospects, from discovery to close
- →Support GitLab for Mid Market prospects by articulating our DevSecOps value proposition
- →Analyze wins and losses, contribute to root cause analyses, and share lessons learned
- →Document and maintain accurate buying criteria, processes, and next steps
- →Contribute to improving our sales handbook and processes
- →Provide account leadership and direction across pre- and post-sales
- →Represent the voice of the customer by contributing product feedback
Requirements
- ✓Proven success in software sales, ideally in a Mid-market context
- ✓Ability to guide customers through the full buying journey
- ✓Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓Experience documenting and maintaining accurate pipeline data
- ✓Skill in conducting win/loss and root cause analyses
- ✓Proficiency in negotiation and leading commercial discussions
- ✓Interest in GitLab, open source software, and familiarity with Git
- ✓Alignment with GitLab’s values and willingness to travel
- ✓Fluent German language skills (required)
