About the Role
We are looking for a Growth Designer to join our team at GitLab, an open-core software company developing an AI-powered DevSecOps Platform. This role focuses on driving business outcomes by helping users find increased value and efficiency with GitLab.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work alongside UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers to iterate on new features within the GitLab product
- →Collaborate with teams across the product and business to optimize signup flows and team invite experiences
- →Communicate design thinking through wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs
- →Develop hypotheses and establish clear success metrics to test new features or product changes
- →Help establish growth methodologies and best practices for other product teams
- →Engage with users, prospects, and the GitLab community to understand pain points
- →Undertake usability testing to validate design thinking
- →Contribute to our Design System
Requirements
- ✓Demonstrated experience working as a Growth designer or in a growth-relevant area
- ✓Familiarity with product experimentation
- ✓General knowledge of Git and DevSecOps
- ✓Ability to collaborate across multiple product teams and stakeholders
- ✓Experience conducting research with various methods and sound decision-making skills
- ✓Strong visual design skills with the ability to balance leveraging the design system and recognizing when a unique component is needed
