About the Role

GlossGenius is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join its App Platform team, playing a leading technical role in shaping the company's web platform. This role involves architecting and driving the development of scalable frontend components and shared libraries, defining the long-term technical direction of the web platform, and setting frontend best practices across engineering.

Key Responsibilities

→Architect and drive the development of scalable, reusable frontend components and shared libraries
→Define and lead the long-term technical direction of the web platform
→Partner with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver a cohesive web experience
→Set standards for frontend best practices including code quality, accessibility, and performance optimization
→Drive improvements to frontend tooling, build pipelines, and developer workflows
→Champion the adoption of AI-powered development tools
→Serve as a technical leader in code reviews and architectural decisions
→Contribute to mobile efforts to ensure consistency across web and mobile surfaces

Requirements

✓7+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with a focus on web
✓Deep expertise in React and JavaScript
✓Strong proficiency in TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, and responsive design principles
✓Experience building and evolving component libraries and design systems at scale
✓Understanding of web performance optimization
✓Experience with AI-assisted development tools
✓Ability to work autonomously and drive projects from concept to completion
✓Strong communication skills to influence technical direction and align stakeholders
✓Familiarity with React Native or cross-platform mobile development is a plus
