About the Role
We are looking for an English-fluent Mid-level Software Engineer to join GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service company that connects developers from Latin America with global companies. You will help evolve a legacy web-based SaaS product while contributing to a next-generation platform using modern tools and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- →Contribute to both the legacy PHP/LAMP platform and the modern microservice-based platform.
- →Stabilize, refactor, and incrementally enhance older codebases with clear documentation.
- →Develop new backend and frontend functionality using NestJS and NextJS.
- →Participate in AWS migration efforts and support infrastructure modernization.
- →Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across feature prioritization, implementation, and QA.
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience in software engineering, including PHP/LAMP and/or Node.js stacks.
- ✓Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- ✓Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy systems in production environments.
- ✓Familiarity with cloud-native development and microservices.
- ✓Strong English communication skills and comfort working asynchronously.
