About the Role
We are looking for an Event Planner to join our dynamic events team. This role involves meticulously planning and executing events from start to finish, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and creating memorable experiences for attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and execute diverse events including conferences, seminars, workshops, and corporate events
- →Collaborate with stakeholders to define event objectives and develop comprehensive plans
- →Manage event logistics such as vendor coordination, catering, audio-visual needs, and transportation
- →Oversee supply packing and shipping from the Dallas office
- →Delegate tasks, provide real-time problem-solving, and assist with event setup and dismantling
- →Work with internal teams including marketing, communications, and operations
- →Conduct post-event evaluations, analyze data, and compile reports for improvement
- →Travel 20-30% with occasional weekend availability for corporate events
- →Maintain flexibility to work in the Dallas office a few days a week
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field preferred
- ✓2-4 years of experience as an event planner or in related fields
- ✓Experience with virtual and hybrid event platforms
- ✓Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- ✓Strong organizational and project management skills
- ✓Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- ✓Proven ability to work independently and solve problems
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods
- ✓Availability to work during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm CST)
