About the Role

Motive is seeking an Event Manager to support planning and execution of high-impact trade shows, industry conferences, and large-scale event activations. This role will drive pipeline, strengthen brand presence, and create meaningful engagement with prospects and customers.

Key Responsibilities

→Plan and execute Motive’s presence at national and regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events
→Lead on-site coordination, including booth setup, staffing support, and vendor management
→Work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Marketing Ops, and leadership to align event strategy
→Develop clear briefs, timelines, and stakeholder communications for each event
→Build and refine repeatable trade show processes, documentation, and workflows
→Measure and report on key event metrics including scans, meetings, influenced pipeline, and ROI
→Manage event budgets, vendor negotiations, booth logistics, shipments, swag, signage, and production

Requirements

✓3 or more years of B2B event, trade show, or experiential marketing experience
✓Demonstrated success executing trade shows or large-scale industry events
✓Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, Asana, or similar platforms
✓Strong project management and organizational skills
✓Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail
✓Clear and confident communicator comfortable working with senior stakeholders
✓Willingness to travel approximately 25 to 40 percent
