About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team at Gong. This role focuses on building the foundation of our data infrastructure and developing scalable data models that empower teams with trusted insights.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain robust data models that turn raw data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets
- →Develop and evolve DBT pipelines with a focus on scalability, modular design, testing, and clear documentation
- →Translate complex product and business logic into clear, scalable, and maintainable data models
- →Proactively identify and resolve data quality, pipeline, and event integrity issues
- →Enable product, business, and engineering teams to make faster, more confident decisions with accurate data
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of experience in data engineering or similar data roles
- ✓Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse
- ✓Solid experience with DBT for transformation, modeling, and documentation
- ✓Comfortable working with Python, CI/CD workflows, version control, and testing frameworks
- ✓Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- ✓Familiarity with modern data orchestration tools such as Airflow - a plus
