About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to lead our Agentic AI team at Govini, transforming Defense Acquisition through software-driven strategic advantage. This role focuses on scaling agentic offerings across US government levels, with a focus on enhancing our agent, Ace.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead agentic system development from ideation through production
- →Integrate and work with LLMs and agent frameworks
- →Build observability, evaluation, and feedback loops for agent behavior
- →Lead Agile ceremonies and technical planning for the Agentic AI team
- →Design and build multi-agent systems with tool use, memory, routing, and planning
- →Develop Agent Skills and tools as modular, composable services
- →Assist with automated evaluation of agents, skills, and prompts
- →Work with Product and Implementation organizations to solve customer problems
Requirements
- ✓U.S. Citizenship is required
- ✓Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- ✓Minimum 3 years of experience building and deploying ML or LLM-powered systems
- ✓Minimum 2 years of experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
- ✓Practical experience in building, developing, and productionizing machine learning systems
- ✓Advanced software skills in Python
- ✓Experience with common LLM algorithms and implementations
- ✓Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure
- ✓Familiarity with Git source control management
- ✓Ability to work collaboratively with little supervision
- ✓Desired Skills
- ✓Current possession of a U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one
- ✓Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment
- ✓Experience with Claude Code and GenAI coding best practices.
