About the Role
We are looking for an Android Software Engineer to join Grab's Geo Engineering team. This role focuses on developing mobile experiences centered around location and maps, serving millions of users across Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and optimize Android features and shared mobile components
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
- →Implement complex UI and intuitive UX, build reusable libraries, and integrate with multiple apps and services
- →Uphold code quality, testing, security, and clear documentation
- →Monitor app health and performance, analyze metrics, and drive reliability improvements
- →Explore and propose new designs and architectures for scale and developer velocity
- →Brainstorm ideas, identify problems, and deliver pragmatic solutions focused on user impact and performance
