About the Role
Great Gray Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead agile development teams and deliver high-impact features for their retirement platform. This role requires experience in web application development and a focus on team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and develop one to two agile development teams (4-8 engineers)
- →Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps
- →Own team delivery and operational metrics, ensuring predictable sprint execution
- →Collaborate with leadership to align technical decisions with business goals
- →Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement across engineering teams
- →Contribute to hiring, defining team standards, and shaping engineering culture
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience shipping software, 3+ years with web applications
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Technical background in modern web application development (C#/Java, Angular/React/Next.js)
- ✓Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across teams
- ✓3+ years of engineering management experience preferred
