About the Role
Great Gray Group is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their Technology team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of their software by developing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- βCollaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing objectives and acceptance criteria
- βDesign and architect automated test suites to match business needs
- βIntegrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency
- βDevelop a testing strategy for a high-reliability development environment
- βTriage and troubleshoot bugs, refining testing strategies
- βPerform functional and non-functional testing, including performance, load, and security testing
- βExecute manual testing to complement automated coverage
- βOperate as a business expert in a cross-functional scrum team
Requirements
- β5+ years of testing and automation experience
- βProficiency with Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright for UI automation
- βExperience with REST/Web API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter
- βKnowledge of performance and load testing methodologies
- βBasic understanding of relational database testing (SQL Server)
- βWorking knowledge of cloud-hosted web applications and CI/CD integration
