About the Role

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to provide architectural guidance and assist with product recommendations for our clients. This role will be instrumental in deploying and operationalizing solutions to address cybersecurity challenges.

Key Responsibilities

→Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout project lifecycles
→Design, implement, and operationalize security controls across IT and enterprise systems
→Articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
→Prioritize and deliver across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
→Author comprehensive business and technical collateral for various audiences
→Manage sales activities with multiple Account Managers across multiple states

Requirements

✓Security engineering experience in Information Security or as a technical lead
✓Experience with architecting and recommending Security Technologies
✓Knowledge of Development Security Operation programs and Software Life Cycle Management
✓Proficiency in multiple security technologies
✓Deep proficiency in client and server operating systems
✓General networking and security troubleshooting skills
✓Scripting and development skills
✓Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP products
✓Working technical knowledge of advanced security concepts
✓Experience in a consultative or professional services role
✓Industry Certifications preferred
