About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Splunk Subject Matter Expert to join our dynamic team at USPS. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining on-premises and cloud-based Splunk environments to support enterprise-level monitoring, alerting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based Splunk environments
→Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and IT teams to optimize performance and ensure data integrity
→Troubleshoot complex data ingestion and parsing issues
→Develop automations workflow and dashboard interface
→Mentor and guide junior researchers or team members

Requirements

✓5+ years of Splunk experience
✓Experience with Splunk deployment and configuration management in large-scale environments
✓Proficiency in writing complex Splunk queries, dashboards, and alerts using SPL
✓Experience with REST APIs for Splunk and external system integration
✓Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities
✓US Citizen or permanent status Green Card holder
✓Pass a client mandated clearance process
