About the Role
You will own Gumloop’s testing strategy end-to-end. This foundational role involves defining what “quality” means at Gumloop and building the systems to enforce it.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement our testing strategy (unit, integration, E2E, CI)
- →Build a scalable testing framework with clear standards and guardrails
- →Develop systems for testing AI-driven workflows and agents
- →Reduce flakiness, increase coverage, and improve deployment confidence
- →Automate aggressively; use manual QA deliberately and sparingly
- →Partner with product and engineering to prevent bugs before they ship
Requirements
- ✓Have built automated test systems for real-world products
- ✓Think in systems, not individual test cases
- ✓Care deeply about engineering quality and developer velocity
- ✓Have experience testing full-stack applications
- ✓Understand CI/CD and how to enforce quality without slowing teams down
- ✓Have designed tests for nondeterministic systems (LLMs, AI agents, etc.)
- ✓Thrive in small, fast-moving teams
