THE ROLE: ACCOUNTABILITY & OWNERSHIP As a Staff Engineer, you won’t just be "working on a codebase", you'll lead the development of end-to-end features, architecting how our AI insights are surfaced to users and ensuring the system is robust, fast, and intuitive. You won't just be delivering features, you'll architect and design our platform to keep us lean and robust as we scale. You'll be a technical leader and the goto person as we make strategic and tactical tech decisions. Together, we'll build a delivery platform purpose-built to enable agentic code development in safety. You champion clean, pragmatic architecture and know how to use agentic coding with a "ship fast, but never broken" mentality and you can help us get there too. - Mentorship: You lead by example, fuelling a culture of passion, curiosity, and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU’LL BRING While our current stack is Svelte and Python, we believe great engineers can master any tool. We care about your ability to think like a product owner -, your obsession with quality, and your drive to move the needle for our users. If you have deep experience in React, Vue, Node, or Go and you understand how to build reliable, scalable web apps - we want to talk to you. YOU’RE A FIT IF: - You are proven at Staff or Senior level: You own initiatives end to end, provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, and raise the bar on what good looks like. - You are a pragmatic Architect: You have a track record of operating SaaS solutions at scale. You understand that "perfect is the enemy of shipped," making intentional trade-offs to build systems that are simple to operate and resilient over the long term. - You have a Product Mindset: You are driven by impact, not just lines of code. You care about the business problem we are solving. - You are Accountability-First: When you say "I've got this," the team knows it’s as good as done. - You have Deep Full-Stack Experience: You have a proven track record of building and scaling modern web applications (regardless of the specific framework). - You are Curious & Adaptable: You stay ahead of the curve in AI and web tech because you love the space, not because it’s your job.
