About the Role
HALA is a leading fintech player in the MENAP region seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory compliance and build the future bank for SMEs. This role involves overseeing compliance procedures and maintaining regulatory standards across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conduct periodic regulatory reviews and investigations of compliance issues
- →Serve as a point of contact for employees on compliance matters
- →Design and coordinate regulatory reviews of policies, procedures, and materials
- →Establish self-review and compliance monitoring programs
- →Coordinate the creation, review, and implementation of policies from new laws
- →Write compliance reports and update the risk register
- →Escalate noncompliance risks
- →Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues
- →Coordinate regulatory visits and respond to requests
- →Lead the implementation of new regulations and analysis of penalties
- →Review whistleblowing reports
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent field
