About the Role
Handshake is seeking a Senior Recruiter to support hiring across business, operations, and technical roles as they scale their India presence. This is a foundational role in building and evolving recruiting processes for a fast-growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- βPartner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand hiring needs and align on priorities
- βOwn the end-to-end recruiting process for diverse roles, from sourcing to offers
- βLead candidate scheduling, interview operations, and logistics for evening and overnight interviews
- βBuild and maintain strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles across India and other regions
- βProvide insights on talent markets, compensation expectations, and competitive dynamics
- βContribute to building recruiting processes and norms as the India office grows
- βDeliver a high-quality candidate experience reflecting Handshake AIβs values
Requirements
- β5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting business, operations, and/or technical roles
- βExperience recruiting in a startup or fast-scaling environment
- βStrong experience partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders
- βExperience recruiting for technical or specialized roles
- βHands-on experience sourcing across multiple role types using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and CRM tools
- βComfortable supporting recruiting operations and coordination
- βAbility to track recruiting metrics and adjust approach as needed
- βClear written and verbal communication skills, especially across teams and time zones
