About the Role
Harmattan AI is seeking an IT Security & Compliance Administrator to own our cybersecurity operations and compliance posture. This role will ensure our systems meet the highest security standards as we engage with demanding customers and regulators in the defense sector.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as the primary internal point of contact with our managed SOC (MSSP)
- →Lead incident response procedures including containment, investigation, remediation, and post-mortem
- →Maintain and improve the incident response plan and playbooks
- →Conduct proactive threat hunting exercises
- →Perform digital forensics analysis on compromised assets
- →Run regular vulnerability scans across infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud environments
- →Lead the implementation and maintenance of security compliance frameworks including SOC 2, Cyber Essentials Plus, and ISO 27001
- →Design and deliver a company-wide security awareness program
- →Advise internal teams on secure design and best practices
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity operations, or security and compliance roles
- ✓Demonstrated experience handling security incidents end-to-end
- ✓Hands-on experience with EDR platforms and SIEM/SOC tooling
- ✓Strong practical knowledge of at least two compliance frameworks: SOC 2, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF
- ✓Experience working with or coordinating a managed security service provider
- ✓Ability to translate technical security risks into business language
- ✓Strong written and spoken English; French is a plus
- ✓Comfortable owning the security perimeter with limited oversight
- ✓Availability for a shared on-call rotation
