Position Summary This is an amazing opportunity to be an engineer in a high-growth, high-potential startup. In this role, you will be part of the Cloud Cost Management product and responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software that has a direct impact on the company's product experience. About the Role • 4–8 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related discipline. • Expert-level proficiency in SQL, with demonstrated experience in performance optimization and dimensional data modeling. • Proven experience designing and operating data platforms at petabyte scale. • Hands-on expertise with modern OLAP data warehouses such as BigQuery, ClickHouse, or StarRocks. • Practical experience using SQL-based transformation frameworks, including SQLMesh, dbt, or equivalent tools. • Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), with working knowledge of Java and/or Go. • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, Apache Airflow, or Dagster. • Proficiency working across major cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. • Strong emphasis on clean architecture, data quality, testing, and automation best practices. • Experience with distributed data processing engines such as Apache Spark. • Familiarity with open table formats, including Apache Iceberg. • Experience with Looker and LookML for analytics and dashboard modeling.
