About the Role
Harness is seeking a Product Management Leader to drive the definition, development, and adoption of our packaged and shipped product - Harness Internal Developer Portal. This role involves owning technical, end-to-end product initiatives, working closely with customers and engineering teams to guide product development, and ensuring high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build product roadmap based on customer needs, business goals, market and technology trends
- →Engage with customers to develop insights and uncover unarticulated needs
- →Define detailed technical product specs, user stories, mockups, and acceptance criteria
- →Collaborate with engineering to ensure technical feasibility and timely delivery
- →Work with UX teams to deliver intuitive and delightful end-user experiences
- →Interact with Support, Customer Success, and field teams to understand customer issues
- →Collaborate with SRE and release teams to plan and execute product releases
- →Partner with product marketing to create customer-driven messaging
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- ✓7+ years of experience in product management with enterprise SaaS/Cloud companies
- ✓5+ years managing technical products to enhance developer experience
- ✓Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly
- ✓Technical strength to understand architecture and engineering decisions
- ✓Customer focus and passion for solving developer challenges
- ✓Strong analytical and communication skills
- ✓Experience with Internal Developer Portals, DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure management is a plus
- ✓Prior software development or startup experience is a plus
- ✓Experience leading cross-functional teams
