About the Role
The Salesforce Developer will support a University-wide internal CRM consulting service, playing a key role in determining and implementing solutions for customer needs within a new enterprise CRM for academic administration. This customer-facing role requires explaining technical options to non-technical audiences and collaborating on system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements using Salesforce development tools
- βTranslate business requirements into technical solutions
- βProvide day-to-day customer support for multiple Salesforce implementations
- βMaintain user roles, permissions, security settings, and sharing settings
- βCreate and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, and automations
- βSupport and maintain integrations with internal and third-party solutions
- βImplement best practices in system configuration, development, testing, and deployment
- βMonitor Salesforce releases to ensure backward compatibility
- βDocument solutions and train users in Salesforce and related tools
Requirements
- βRobust knowledge of Salesforce sharing and permissions
- βExperience with dynamic forms and Experience Cloud
- βUnderstanding of Apex enterprise architecture including asynchronous Apex, triggers, logging, and testing
- βFamiliarity with integrations to other systems and DevOps tools
- βAbility to explain technical options to non-technical audiences
- βStrong collaborative and problem-solving skills
