ROLE OVERVIEW
Harvey is building AI that transforms how the world's most sophisticated professionals work. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager based in Bengaluru to drive the strategy, development, and delivery of Harvey's Knowledge Platform β the systems that connect Harvey to the legal world's content and tools. This means owning how we build and scale our ecosystem of third-party connectors and data partner integrations that bring rich legal context into Harvey, strengthening core user engagement. This is Harvey's first PM hire in India and a foundational role: you will own a critical product area end-to-end, work closely with our India Engineering team and cross-functional partners across time zones, and shape how Harvey builds and ships products. You will collaborate daily with Engineering, Design, Business Development, Legal Engineering, and GTM teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop the product roadmap for Harvey's integrations and Knowledge Platform, defining vision, strategy, and priorities across document management systems, the legal tech connector ecosystem, and private legal data.
- Partner closely with Harvey's India Engineering team to scope, design, and ship high-quality integrations and platform experiences at a rapid pace
- Drive the strategy for expanding Harvey's connector ecosystem: integration aggregators and self-serve pathways that allow customers and partners to connect their own tools to Harvey at scale.
- Work closely with business development to engage with partners and manage complex joint developments
- Deeply understand the workflows of lawyers at leading law firms and in-house legal teams, translating that understanding into product decisions, especially around how enterprise knowledge (DMS files, matter data, firm content) flows into and shapes AI-powered workflows.
- Act as a bridge between India and HQ (San Francisco / New York), ensuring tight communication loops and strategic alignment across sites.
- Contribute to shaping Harvey's India product culture β setting the bar for how PMs operate in the region.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years at a Staff or Senior PM level at a high-growth technology company.
- Demonstrated ability to own and drive a product area end-to-end, from strategy through execution and iteration.
- Strong technical fluency β you can have deep, substantive conversations with engineers about system design, data pipelines, API architecture, and infrastructure trade-offs, including topics like vector search, orchestration systems, and sync reliability.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS go-to-market dynamics: customer commitments, partner integrations, access control and governance requirements, and the operational complexity of shipping to large law firms or regulated industries.
- Track record of effective cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Design, GTM, and Customer Success β including navigating dependency-heavy roadmaps and partner relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executives and external stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Experience working in distributed or multi-site teams, with comfort operating across time zones.
- Based in Bengaluru and eligible to work in India. Harvey does not currently offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Nice to Have
- Experience in legal tech, professional services technology, or regulated industries.
- Experience as a founding or early PM in a new-market or new-office setting.
- Familiarity with LLMs, RAG architectures, or AI-native product design, and an intuition for how data quality and pipeline design affect AI output.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Work eligibility: Must be authorized to work in India. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
