About the Role

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation video services at Hawk-Eye Innovations. This high-impact leadership role focuses on building foundational frameworks that ensure video remains performant, frame-accurate, and rock-solid in any environment.

Key Responsibilities

→Architect and own the technical roadmap for core C++ video frameworks
→Write and review high-performance, multithreaded C++ code
→Leverage deep knowledge of video codecs and containers using FFmpeg
→Lead technical discussions and mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers
→Partner with product teams and customers to deliver solutions for live global sports

Requirements

✓Mastery of modern C++ (ideally up to C++20)
✓Extensive experience writing multithreaded, performance-optimized code
✓Significant experience with video and FFmpeg
✓Proven ability to lead people and technical directions
✓Comfort with Git, Visual Studio, and advanced debugging workflows
