About the Role
Headway is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Copy to join our creative team. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on creative direction, shaping how Headway communicates across campaigns and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead copy direction across brand and growth campaigns, launches, and key initiatives
- βShape and steward Headwayβs brand voice, tone, and messaging across channels
- βSupport content and editorial teams, ensuring alignment with brand standards
- βPartner with senior creative leaders and designers to develop impactful ideas
- βTranslate marketing and business priorities into creative strategies
- βGuide writers through concepting, iteration, and execution
- βAct as a brand steward, maintaining clarity and consistency
- βMentor and develop writers and creatives
- βWork with Creative Ops to ensure quality execution
Requirements
- β8+ years of experience in copywriting and creative leadership
- βStrong portfolio demonstrating campaign thinking and writing craft
- βClear point of view on taste, storytelling, and effective creative
- βAbility to balance strategic leadership with hands-on creative direction
- βExperience overseeing or partnering with content and editorial teams
- βConfidence presenting creative rationale to diverse audiences
- βCollaborative and growth mindset
