About the Role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join Heidi, an AI Care Partner that works alongside clinicians. This role involves embedding with strategic customers to ensure Heidi works effectively in real-world settings.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own end-to-end technical onboarding for enterprise customers, including EMR integrations, SSO, SCIM provisioning, data pipelines, and security configuration.
- →Work directly with clinical and operational stakeholders to design and build custom workflows.
- →Be the escalation point for complex technical issues, diagnosing problems across the stack and coordinating with engineering.
- →Build tooling, scripts, and automation to make deployments faster, more reliable, and easier to scale.
- →Translate field insights into actionable signals for Product and Engineering.
- →Document, train, and build internal knowledge to help customers operate independently.
Requirements
- ✓4+ years in a forward deploy, implementation engineering, or customer-facing technical role, ideally in SaaS, healthtech, or enterprise software.
- ✓Experience writing code in Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
- ✓Strong working knowledge of integration protocols: REST APIs, SAML/OIDC, SCIM, and ideally FHIR/HL7.
- ✓Comfortable owning ambiguous, high-stakes problems end-to-end without a playbook.
- ✓Sharp communicator capable of explaining complex integration failures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ✓Experience working embedded with enterprise customers or health systems is a strong plus.
