About the Role

Heidi is seeking a People Operations & Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end operations within the Philippines, ensuring smooth scaling of people processes and compliance with local labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

→Manage core People Ops functions including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle changes
→Own and improve People systems and tools like HRIS, ensuring efficient workflows and data accuracy
→Apply knowledge of Philippine labor laws, collaborating with Legal and Finance for compliance
→Partner with team leads to support team growth through role design and feedback mechanisms
→Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, People Tech, Finance, and Legal teams
→Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees on people-related matters
→Work autonomously to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
→Proactively identify opportunities to improve People operations

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in People Operations, preferably in a high-growth tech scale-up
✓Proven experience managing global people operations across different regions and compliance requirements
✓Ability to operate independently as a senior individual contributor
✓Hands-on experience with HR systems, people data, and process improvement
✓Strong organizational skills with high standards of accuracy
✓Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
✓Clear communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
