About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team at HelloFresh. This role is responsible for driving critical data infrastructure development, optimization, and adoption to scale organizational data and analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the design and development of various engineering solutions, including building data pipelines, maintaining critical infrastructure, and deploying data solutions into production
- →Collaborate with data scientists, business intelligence specialists, and other data peers to deliver data assets as part of a holistic data framework/strategy
- →Work with stakeholders to accelerate the deprecation of legacy systems and implement next-gen replacement systems
- →Lead the development of documentation around critical infrastructure, data systems, and other data artifacts
- →Support team management activities, including talent acquisition and performance management
- →Liaise with Global data engineering teams to identify opportunities for collaboration
Requirements
- ✓3-5 years of experience leading large-scale data engineering projects and mentoring junior engineers
- ✓Demonstrable experience with industry-leading data tools (Databricks, Airflow, Snowflake, AWS/S3, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, StreamLit)
- ✓Advanced Python and SQL programming knowledge
- ✓Experience delivering quantifiable value for commercial stakeholder groups
- ✓Experience supporting team data strategies with business partners
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Economics, or Business preferred
