About the Role
We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Legal team at HelloFresh. This role involves supporting attorneys with administrative processes and managing legal documents across various practice areas, with a focus on employment and human resources.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work alongside paralegals to support attorneys with day-to-day administrative processes across legal work streams.
- →Manage and maintain the Company’s contract management system, including assigning new requests.
- →Aid in organizing and updating legal department template documents.
- →Monitor legal mailboxes and ensure requests are routed to the appropriate internal team members and business partners.
- →Draft and prepare basic legal correspondence and contracts such as NDAs, Exhibits, Talent and Influencer Agreements.
- →Help to ensure contracts are sent out in a timely manner, fully executed and stored properly.
- →Assist with facilitating the intake and onboarding of new vendors.
- →Assist in the maintenance of corporate filings, business licenses and permits.
- →Conduct legal research and help facilitate responses to internal queries.
- →Perform other special assignments and strategic projects as needed.
Requirements
- ✓A Bachelor of Art/Science degree with outstanding academic credentials from an accredited university.
- ✓High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, etc).
- ✓Excellent writing and oral communications skills.
- ✓Experience using a contract management platform (preferred).
- ✓3-4 years of legal assistant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a specialization in employment law and litigation (preferred).
