About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join HelloFresh's HelloTech organization in Warsaw. This role is part of the Active Journey Alliance, focused on maximizing retention of active customers. You will work on developing and maintaining the HelloFresh platform that serves millions of customers globally.

Key Responsibilities

→Work on architecture, design, development, deployment and operations of microservices using DevOps practices
→Collaborate with Product Owners, Front-end Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams
→Act as an ambassador for software solutions, offering support and mentorship to colleagues
→Work with technologies like Golang, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes

Requirements

✓Strong background in backend development, with a focus on microservices and distributed systems
✓Proven ability to build event-driven architectures using messaging technologies
✓Proficiency in Go and/or PHP
✓Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD implementation
✓Solid foundation in testing practices, including unit and end-to-end testing
✓Deep understanding of relational databases
