About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join HelloFresh's HelloTech organization in Warsaw. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust event-driven systems that power HelloFresh's customer communication at scale.

Key Responsibilities

→Collaborate within an autonomous, cross-functional agile team to deliver impactful solutions
→Work on the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of microservices
→Build and maintain robust event-driven systems using state-of-the-art technologies
→Leverage modern AI tools and DevOps practices to enhance productivity
→Support colleagues by sharing practical knowledge and technical insights

Requirements

✓Expertise in Python development covering the full lifecycle from testing to application tuning
✓Solid background in event-driven microservices architecture using tools like RabbitMQ or Kafka
✓Proficiency with data storage including relational databases like PostgreSQL and object stores like AWS S3
✓Strong agile mindset with a focus on lean thinking and continuous delivery
✓Ability to utilize monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
✓Experience integrating external systems is a strong plus
✓Curiosity and drive to continuously develop yourself and act as an ambassador for AI mentality
