About the Role

Join HelloFresh's HelloTech organization in Warsaw, where you'll work on building digital products that power the end-to-end food experience. As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Conversions Tech area, you'll design, implement, and operate scalable and fault-tolerant services that enable personalization, experimentation, and decisioning at scale.

Key Responsibilities

→Execute the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of microservices using modern AI tools and DevOps practices
→Contribute to autonomous, cross-functional agile teams collaborating with product owners, frontend engineers, data engineers, and business intelligence teams
→Maintain an in-depth understanding of the core product and architecture, acting as a technical representative for software solutions
→Work with state-of-the-art technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Spark, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, and Terraform
→Drive complex business challenges from conception through to resolution and deployment

Requirements

✓Expertise in end-to-end backend development using Go, with Python experience considered a strong plus
✓Solid backend experience working with an event-driven microservices architecture using Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka, CQRS pattern, etc.
✓Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL and object stores like AWS S3
✓Demonstrable experience with agile methodologies, with a strong focus on delivery, lean thinking, and quick iterations
✓Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
✓Practical experience integrating third-party vendors, APIs, and external systems
