About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join HelloFresh's HelloTech organization in Warsaw. This role focuses on building digital products that power HelloFresh's end-to-end food experience, from meal kits to specialty offerings.

Key Responsibilities

→Direct and evolve the data and modeling strategy behind customized journeys and funnel decisioning
→Direct complex feature engineering initiatives that improve decision quality, robustness, and scalability
→Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning approaches for large-scale personalization and routing decisions
→Define standards for model validation, monitoring, and experimentation
→Act as a strategic technical resource for Product, Engineering, and Marketing
→Drive alignment across technical workstreams on how personalization is measured, iterated, and scaled
→Provide technical frameworks for roadmap and prioritization decisions
→Define and evolve shared decisioning frameworks and data products
→Ensure analytical solutions are production-ready, observable, and efficient
→Provide high-level technical guidance to other data scientists
→Coordinate with engineering teams to bring capabilities into production environments
→Explore how AI and automation can improve decisioning quality

Requirements

✓A minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a Master's degree, or a minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a Ph.D. degree, in a quantitative field
✓Demonstrated expertise in data science, with a strong emphasis on personalization and marketing communications
✓Deep understanding of machine learning principles and techniques
✓Proven ability to solve complex optimization problems
✓Proven ability to design and interpret A/B tests and quasi-experiments
✓Exceptional communication and collaboration capabilities
✓Experience with customer behavior analysis, segmentation, and identifying high-value actions
✓Experience in leveraging Generative AI models for content generation
