About the Role
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Digital Services. This role involves validating bug fixes, exploring application behavior, and designing test cases to ensure quality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Validate bug fixes using reproduction steps and gradually take ownership of test investigations.
- →Explore application behavior under various conditions and user scenarios.
- →Design and execute test cases, automate test steps, and analyze failures.
- →Run manual test procedures and document results clearly.
- →Communicate effectively with developers and QA peers using screenshots, setup steps, and behavior comparisons.
Requirements
- ✓At least 1+ year of direct experience in both Manual Testing AND Automation Testing
- ✓Good at English communication is a must
- ✓Experience of test case design, developing test plans, Agile working model, testing process & bug reporting
- ✓Solid skill in Manual testing, integration test and API testing (with Postman or any tool)
- ✓Experience in Mobile Testing (Android, iOS) and/or Web App Testing is referred
- ✓Experience in UI or API test Automation with: Playwright, Selenium / Cypress / REST Assured or Karate API, Katalon
- ✓Experience in one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Java,.. to support automation scripts
- ✓Design independent testing cases for newly developed and existing applications.
- ✓Experience in SQL/PLSQL, and database testing
