About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Windows Application Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Digital Services, focusing on the maintenance and enhancement of existing Windows-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- βParticipate in a cross-functional team to maintain and support an existing Windows application
- βAnalyze and troubleshoot reported issues, implement bug fixes, and perform root cause analysis
- βEnhance and optimize application performance where needed
- βCollaborate with QA engineers to develop, review, and execute test plans for maintenance changes
- βUpdate and improve existing code while maintaining coding standards and best practices
- βPrepare technical documentation for changes, fixes, and enhancements
- βProvide technical support and knowledge sharing to other team members
Requirements
- βProficiency in C# and C++
- βMinimum of 5 yearsβ experience in Windows application development
- βStrong understanding of Windows application architecture and development lifecycle
- βExperience with COM and MFC programming
- βExperience with PHP development
- βKnowledge of database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
