About the Role
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our User-Centred Design (UCD) practice. You will work within multidisciplinary teams delivering complex digital transformation programmes across public and private sector organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design intuitive and usable digital experiences that respond to user needs and business goals
- →Create design artefacts such as user flows, wireframes and prototypes to communicate and test ideas
- →Contribute to shaping the user experience of complex digital services across multiple channels and touchpoints
- →Translate research insights and service concepts into practical product and interface design solutions
- →Contribute to early project shaping and discovery work to help teams understand user needs and problem spaces
- →Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during design and delivery phases to develop and iterate solutions
- →Support usability testing and design validation to ensure products meet user needs
- →Facilitate workshops and collaborative design activities with clients and delivery teams
- →Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure designs are feasible within technical and organisational constraints
- →Advocate for user-centred and evidence-based design approaches within delivery teams
- →Contribute to design standards, design systems and shared design practices
- →Support and mentor more junior designers where appropriate
- →Share knowledge and learnings within the wider UCD team
Requirements
- ✓Experience in designing digital experiences for complex services
- ✓Proficiency in creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
- ✓Ability to translate research insights into practical design solutions
- ✓Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- ✓Knowledge of user-centred design principles and practices
- ✓Experience with usability testing and design validation
- ✓Understanding of technical and organisational constraints
- ✓Ability to facilitate workshops and collaborative design activities
- ✓Experience in contributing to design standards and systems
- ✓Mentorship and knowledge-sharing capabilities
