About the Role
We are looking for a VP of Product Management to join HiveMQ, the Industrial AI Platform helping enterprises move from connected devices to intelligent operations. This role will own the execution, performance, and long-term success of HiveMQ’s product portfolio across data streaming, data intelligence, and agentic AI.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define HiveMQ’s product development philosophy and design an AI-first product development operating model at scale
- →Align Product, Design, and Engineering into one cohesive system that delivers tangible customer and revenue impact
- →Take over leadership of the Product function, initially managing a small Product and Docs team
- →Define the multi-year product vision and strategy for HiveMQ’s Industrial AI platform
- →Lead 0-to-1 product initiatives from conception through market success
- →Design and run the product development operating model at scale
- →Align Product, Design, and Engineering into one cohesive system
- →Work in a tight Product–Design–Engineering leadership triangle with the CTO and VP Engineering
- →Own product-line business performance and make clear investment calls
- →Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership bench
- →Partner closely with C-suite peers to connect product strategy with revenue models
- →Represent HiveMQ’s product strategy externally
- →Invest in shared platforms, automation, and AI-assisted workflows
Requirements
- ✓Extensive product leadership experience – typically 15+ years of total work experience
- ✓Proven business ownership for a major product line or business unit
- ✓Demonstrated 0-to-1 product success in the data and analytics domain
- ✓Strong ability to design and run a scalable product operating model
- ✓Strong financial and portfolio acumen
- ✓Track record of building and leading high-performing leadership teams
- ✓A true player–coach mentality
- ✓Strong domain alignment with data intelligence / analytics products
- ✓High cross-regional collaboration comfort
- ✓A proven ability to create strong alignment between Product, Design, and Engineering
