Hometap has established itself as the leader in a nascent category. The next chapter is about unlocking the growth that comes with that position โ identifying the highest-leverage levers, building experiences that convert awareness into action, and creating new channels that expand our reach beyond what exists today.
This is a role for a product leader who thinks about growth as a system, not a set of tactics. Weโre looking for someone who has deep experience building products that drive meaningful growth (ideally in a financial or consumer category). A great fit for this will love to build, staying hands-on with product development while simultaneously driving strategy and impact.
What youโll do:
โข Identify and prioritize the key growth levers across acquisition, activation, and conversion, and build the product bets to move them
โข Enhance the end-to-end homeowner acquisition experience, from first touch through qualification
โข Ideate and build self-serve tools and experiences that bring homeowners into the Hometap ecosystem before they're ready to apply
โข Define the product infrastructure for partner and referral channels that extend Hometap's reach beyond direct acquisition
What youโll bring:
โข 10+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping product that drives meaningful growth
โข Demonstrated experience driving growth for a high-stakes, trust-sensitive consumer product; financial services, mortgage, or insurance experience is a plus
โข Strong instincts for identifying growth levers โ you know how to look at a business, find what's holding it back, and build the product that unlocks the next level
โข Experience building tools, calculators, or self-serve experiences that generate demand, not just capture it
โข Skilled at working cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Design, and others as true partners
โข Genuine excitement about (and experience with) building with AI
โข Comfort balancing strategic ideation with in-the-weeds execution. You're a builder at heart and are energized by the craft of product, happiest when you're close to the work, and can see your decisions ship
โข A bias for action, rigorous experimentation, and continuous learning

The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $225,000, depending on your experience, skills, location, and other factors. Youโll also receive meaningful equity, so you can share in our growth and success.
