About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive, New Business to join Hootsuite and help develop and close new business with small to medium-sized business customers. This role involves working in a fast-paced sales environment, selling Hootsuite solutions to prospective customers, and collaborating with inbound lead generation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Successfully acquire new small and medium-sized business customers by responding to and actioning internal leads to achieve individual quota targets.
- →Provide customer value from the prospecting stage to completion of sale, preparing, organizing, and structuring sales processes throughout the end-to-end sales cycle.
- →Partner with customers to understand product fit and recommend and sell Hootsuite solutions that align with their needs and overall goals on social media.
- →Deliver product presentations and demos to potential customers, demonstrating Hootsuite’s products and how they align with their strategic goals.
- →Consult with internal stakeholders such as solutions consultants, professional services, and customer success as needed throughout the sales cycle.
- →Facilitate a warm handoff to the implementation and customer teams following the close of the initial customer sale to ensure a smooth customer transition and onboarding.
- →Engage and educate existing commercial customers on Hootsuite's value proposition, maximizing the value of each account.
- →Develop rapport with customers by proactively providing insightful market information and solutions that showcase maximum benefits from Hootsuite products.
Requirements
- ✓1-3 years of B2B sales experience or 1+ years of lead generation/business development representative experience.
- ✓Proven ability to achieve or exceed assigned quotas.
- ✓Experience building/executing on assigned account/territory plans.
- ✓Ability to focus on client business value, return on investment, and customer solutions.
- ✓Open communication skills, both written and verbal, with attentive listening and clarification.
- ✓Commitment to results, demonstrating high performance and challenging self and others to deliver results.
- ✓Customer focus, demonstrating a desire to proactively help and serve internal/external customers meet their needs.
- ✓Negotiation skills, successfully obtaining commitment to a solution or idea while maintaining integrity and relationships.
