About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Software Developer, DevOps to support our development organization in delivering value to customers reliably, efficiently, and safely. This role involves working with the team that manages production application environments and developer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write software including tools, libraries, automation, and services
- →Build and maintain our infrastructure platform
- →Implement new platform features
- →Assist in researching and evaluating new technologies
- →Refactor, rewrite, or retire existing platform features
- →Operate developer experience and production application environments
- →Diagnose and repair distributed systems
- →Perform maintenance, upgrades, and migrations
- →Control repetitive tasks, alert noise, and business-as-usual work
- →Enable development teams
- →Provide executable interfaces to our infrastructure platform
- →Provide tools and best practices for the software development lifecycle
- →Communicate through documentation, meetings, and demos
Requirements
- ✓Entry level experience in SRE, DevOps, or software engineering
- ✓Ability to write software and knowledge of software engineering practices
- ✓Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools for cloud infrastructure
- ✓Experience working on fast-paced Agile teams
- ✓Open communication skills
- ✓Collaboration and teamwork abilities
- ✓Self-development and continuous improvement mindset
- ✓Problem-solving skills
- ✓Preferred: Working knowledge of Linux systems administration, networking, and basic monitoring
