About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Web Analytics Developer to join Hostinger's web tracking squad. This role involves architecting web analytics infrastructure and overseeing the implementation of tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead web tracking squad, providing guidance, mentorship, and best practices
- βManage stakeholder relationships, translating complex analytics requirements into actionable insights
- βOversee project timelines, prioritizing initiatives, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery
- βProvide strategic recommendations based on data analysis, influencing decision-making at leadership levels
- βDesign and implement advanced tracking solutions across web properties using various analytics platforms
- βLead server-side tracking implementation to enhance data control and reduce client-side load
- βCollaborate with frontend and backend developers to implement technical tracking solutions
- βDevelop and maintain standardized data collection frameworks
- βEstablish data governance processes to maintain tracking integrity and compliance
- βContinuously improve processes, promoting scalable and efficient analytics workflows
Requirements
- βStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
- βProven experience in stakeholder management, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- β5+ years of experience with web analytics implementation and optimization
- βHands-on experience with implementing server-side tracking solutions
- βAdvanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude
- βStrong understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- βStrong problem-finding and debugging skills
- βExperience with data visualization tools and SQL
- βKnowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and their impact on analytics
- βExperience with project tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira)
