About the Role
HubSpot is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their Data & Systems Intelligence (DSI) team. This role involves building machine learning systems that support HubSpot's go-to-market strategies, working closely with Sales and Customer Success leaders to create scalable, production-ready ML solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and deploy ML- and LLM-powered systems, including predictive models, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows
- →Translate business questions into ML/AI-powered solutions with measurable outcomes
- →Apply LLM evaluation techniques to ensure quality and business relevance
- →Build and maintain LLM infrastructure including vector stores and inference services
- →Productionize models and experiments into robust systems
- →Own the end-to-end lifecycle for ML and LLM-based systems
- →Build and maintain ML pipelines and tooling
- →Apply supervised learning, time-series forecasting, and experimentation techniques
- →Monitor ML and LLM systems in production
- →Champion MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps practices
- →Contribute to technical standards and best practices
Requirements
- ✓Professional experience building and deploying ML models in production
- ✓Strong software engineering skills with Python
- ✓Experience with large datasets and data pipelines using SQL
- ✓Hands-on experience with ML frameworks
- ✓Experience operationalizing models and experiments
- ✓Ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders
- ✓Experience with classic ML and LLM systems
- ✓Experience building or operating agentic systems
- ✓Operational fluency in Java
