Position Overview
The Process Engineering Site Manager is responsible for leading the site Process Engineering organization to ensure all manufacturing processes are designed, validated, and executed using standard work that guarantees safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role directly impacts key site MBOs including productivity, capacity, launch readiness, cost, and process stability by driving disciplined execution, cross-functional alignment, and continuous improvement across operations, new launches, and special projects.
What you’ll do
• Lead and manage the site Process Engineering team, ensuring alignment to standard work, process guidelines, and operational priorities
• Ensure all manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, efficiency, and capacity targets through disciplined process design and validation
• Conduct regular safety process walks and implement effective countermeasures to eliminate process-related risks
• Own and maintain standard work, cycle times, headcount definitions, and direct labor requirements in collaboration with Industrial Engineering
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve target process efficiencies, throughput, scrap reduction, and rework elimination
• Ensure flawless and on-time process implementation for new product launches, including LV0/LV1 execution and documentation
• Develop, validate, and periodically review PFMEAs and ensure timely completion of process audits with corrective actions
• Lead Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation, packaging validation, layout and flow definition, and capacity studies to support operational needs
• All other duties as assigned
Who you are
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading process and/or manufacturing engineering teams
• Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, PFMEA, standard work, and operational efficiency optimization
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
• Highly self-directed, results-oriented leader with strong ownership mindset
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (English proficiency approximately 90%)
