About the Role
We are looking for a Trading Strategy Software Engineer to join IMC, a global trading firm that powers its operations with cutting-edge technology. This role involves developing and maintaining a variety of applications, systems, and tools that drive trading decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with traders, researchers, quants, and fellow engineers to develop high-impact projects
- →Implement trading strategies and develop cutting-edge solutions for trading teams
- →Continuously improve functional and operational sides of strategy systems to enhance user experience and system performance
Requirements
- ✓At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer with excellent programming abilities
- ✓Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, complexity analysis, data structures, memory models, and concurrency models
- ✓Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a keen interest in applying them to the Trading field
- ✓Prior experience in trading or related industries (HFT, MFT, exchanges, hedge funds)
- ✓Ability to work independently, analyze business requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and take full ownership of solutions
- ✓Highly adaptable and able to thrive in uncertain, rapidly evolving environments
- ✓Master’s or PhD degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related field
- ✓Experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin) or Python
