About the Role

We are looking for a Fraud Analyst to join our team at Incode, a leading provider of identity solutions. This role involves analyzing data to uncover patterns, identify suspicious behavior, and investigate fake and altered IDs to prevent and mitigate fraudulent activities.

Key Responsibilities

→Analyze patterns in user behavior and documents to detect fraud
→Examine altered or counterfeit identity documents, such as IDs and passports
→Investigate cases of identity theft, account takeover, and synthetic identities
→Use SQL and Python to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights
→Use Tableau dashboards to monitor and analyze Fraud performance
→Identify anomalies that signal potential fraud attempts
→Develop and implement creative solutions to prevent fraudulent activities
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve fraud detection strategies and processes
→Stay up-to-date with the latest fraud schemes and industry trends
→Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
→Work closely with the product, data, and engineering teams to align fraud prevention measures

Requirements

✓2+ years of experience in data analysis, fraud operations, trust & safety, or a related analytical role
✓Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or any related field
✓Proficiency in Excel, SQL and Python for data analysis and problem-solving
✓Exceptional attention to detail and patience in analyzing complex datasets
✓Strong problem-solving skills with a creative mindset to develop innovative solutions
✓Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration across teams
✓A passion for learning and curiosity to understand and address fraud patterns and schemes
