About the Role
We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on managing data governance projects in the financial sector, particularly in regulatory compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Participate actively in the functional execution of data governance projects, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory deliverables.
- →Conduct functional assessments with owners of critical processes in Risk and Finance, documenting the AS IS / TO BE and proposing data quality improvements from the source.
- →Define and deliver clear functional specifications that can be used by development teams to implement solutions.
- →Replicate or automate processes using Python, SQL, and PySpark as part of data modeling and rule validation.
- →Support end-to-end process documentation and the creation of user stories for the agile team.
- →Manage alerts, risks, and incidents from the work plan.
Requirements
- ✓Experience in functional and technical data management for financial sector projects.
- ✓Knowledge of regulatory initiatives such as BCBS239 and IFRS9 is preferred.
