🔎 Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) and Kubernetes. This role will be responsible for building enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines, managing AKS clusters, automating cloud infrastructure, and supporting large-scale LAUSD initiatives.

🛠 Roles & Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications. Deploy, scale, and manage production-grade Kubernetes (AKS preferred) clusters. Build and maintain Kubernetes manifests—Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, RBAC, etc. Implement HPA/VPA, rolling updates, blue-green deployments for zero-downtime releases. Create and maintain Helm charts for reusable, automated deployments. Integrate Kubernetes workflows with ADO, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Troubleshoot cluster issues—pod failures, networking, logging, performance, scaling. Configure observability via Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Azure Monitor, etc. Enforce security best practices—network policies, pod security, image scanning, secrets management. Automate infrastructure using Terraform / Bicep. Manage Docker image lifecycle and container registries. Lead migration of legacy workloads to Kubernetes using containerization and manifests. Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD / Flux. Perform backup, DR planning, upgrades, and patch management. Collaborate with development, cloud, and security teams for streamlined DevOps processes. Ensure compliance with LAUSD operational and security standards.

✔ Required Qualifications 10+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, and automation. Strong experience with Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, and Releases. Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS). Proficiency with Docker, Linux, Bash/PowerShell, and scripting (Python preferred). Strong knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, cloud-native patterns, container orchestration. Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications Experience working with LAUSD or public-sector cloud environments. Azure certifications: AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305. Kubernetes certifications: CKA, CKAD, CKS. Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, ArgoCD, Flux.
