About the Role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and existing customer relationship management. This role focuses on generating revenue from both new and existing customers, with a particular focus on the jewellery sector while maintaining flexibility to work across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities
- →Generate revenue from new customers and grow existing customer accounts
- →Manage overseas sales offices and agents to achieve assigned targets
- →Feed key customer feedback and market trends into Event and Marketing strategy
- →Support the Event Director in revenue planning for both virtual and physical exhibitions
- →Generate new business leads through various methods including cold calling and industry events
- →Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships
- →Develop sales plans and approaches to grow existing customer account share
- →Develop retention campaigns in collaboration with Exhibitor Marketing teams
- →Deliver assigned sales campaigns against accounts, products, and revenue targets
- →Develop brand and industry specific knowledge to enhance sales performance
- →Support on-site re-booking of existing customer accounts
- →Communicate customer pipeline and booked information through Salesforce reporting
- →Manage the handing over of sales information to Event Operations and Event teams
- →Support Finance in resolving bad debt customers
- →Act as an informal mentor to Account executives
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in sales and account management
- ✓Strong understanding of customer business strategy and needs
- ✓Experience with Salesforce CRM system
- ✓Ability to develop and execute sales plans
- ✓Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- ✓Knowledge of the jewellery industry is preferred
- ✓Experience managing overseas sales offices and agents
- ✓Ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback
- ✓Strong organizational and time management skills
- ✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team
