About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join Ingram Data Services. This role will drive growth for Covered, Ingram's new platform connecting publishers with booksellers, libraries, and influencers.
Key Responsibilities
- βPartners with management to oversee and execute new business development strategy
- βMeets or exceeds new account growth targets
- βDevelops and drives the value proposition of Covered via sales and service initiatives
- βDevelops reporting that measures opportunities, growth potential, and flywheel impact
- βIdentifies potential new opportunities that promote long-term growth and business health
- βEngages new customers at industry events or through targeted campaigns
- βPrepares and conducts presentations and education for internal stakeholders and external clients
- βServes as conduit for all large business development queries
- βPursues and executes strategies to enter new markets
Requirements
- βBachelorβs Degree
- β5 years experience in sales and/or business development in book publishing or digital services
- βProven B2B business development
- βKnowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling services
- βDeep knowledge of the book industry ecosystem
