About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to join Inovalon’s BigData Analytics team. This fast-paced management position requires strong technical capabilities and an instinctive problem-solving mentality to conceptualize and create out-of-the-box solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the design, development, and deployment of Inovalon’s Cloud-based BigData Analytics Platform
- →Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Inovalon’s products and services
- →Manage and coordinate on-shore and off-shore staff for technology initiatives
- →Drive implementation of technical solutions with best practices in architecture and development
- →Provide oversight of the technology team and ensure adherence to development timelines
- →Implement plans with clear objectives to deliver on customer commitments
- →Allocate team members and resources effectively
- →Mentor engineers and provide input to employee goals and reviews
- →Maintain high level of quality and performance in MPP architecture
- →Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- →Fulfill responsibilities for operational and financial success
- →Uphold responsibilities relative to separation of duties
- →Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical issues
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in IT development with some management experience
- ✓Experience in a lead role on successful application deployments
- ✓Solid understanding of BigData and MPP application development
- ✓Knowledge of product design, code, and process optimizations
- ✓Methodical and pragmatic problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong teamwork, active listening, negotiation, and influencing skills
- ✓Experience using TFS and leading agile development teams
- ✓Experience with healthcare clinical and claims data preferred
- ✓Experience with web-based applications preferred
- ✓Experience managing offshore resources preferred
- ✓BS degree in computer sciences, software design, engineering, or related field
