About the Role
You will lead sorting and automation initiatives for designing new processes and standards, while assisting local teams in implementation. Your focus will be on optimizing parcel sorting processes across Europe, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, safety, quality and integration with existing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and adapt sorters and technologies to suit specific market requirements
- →Collaborate with country COOs to gather automation project requirements
- →Propose technological initiatives to improve operations standards, quality, safety and efficiency
- →Manage creation of 2D/3D layouts for new projects and validate with Operations teams
- →Conduct ROI simulations for automation projects considering local processes and labor costs
- →Manage projects with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- →Oversee site installation and address facility manager questions
- →Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, resources and budgets
- →Conduct acceptance tests and follow-up on corrections for installed systems
- →Collaborate with purchasing department on tenders for automation equipment
- →Evaluate potential new suppliers and emerging automation technologies
Requirements
